🌺 Dahlia tuber orders are shipping out this week! We are waiting for the threat of frost to pass before we drop your dahlia tubers in the mail. Be sure to check out our growing pro tips, include included inside each order.

Thanks so much to everyone who’s been picking up at the farm. Our next Pick Up day is scheduled for this Saturday between 3 PM and 5 PM. If you need to coordinate a special pick up time with Angie, please reach out to her at [email protected].

🌺 Our farm stand is officially open on Saturday, April 11th!

🌺 For those who already placed their Dahlia tuber orders on our website and scheduled their local farm pickup with Angie, your orders will be ready for pick up between 3 PM and 5 PM.

🌺 For those gardeners who are looking to purchase tubers, we will have a selection of single tubers of different varieties available for purchase at the farm stand.

🌺 Our website is still open for anyone who would like to place a Dahlia tuber order. We offer local pick up or delivery. Our Dahlia tuber sale will be open on the website through the end of the month. After that we will be shifting our focus to planting and growing here on the farm.

🌺 Our farm stand has a new location this year. It is located at the end of the main driveway in front of the red barns. You’ll notice that it is larger than last year’s nano farmstand. We wanted to keep the stand closer to the barn to encourage visitors to pull into the driveway and off the main road for safety purposes.

✨Sebastopol Geese Eggs✨

The Easter bunny isn’t the only one bringing eggs this weekend. Our Sebastopol geese, also known as curly feathered geese, have started laying eggs. We will be selling the eggs for $50 a piece. These eggs are fertilized and ready to be put in your incubator.

🪿 The Sebastopol goose is extremely friendly. Some will compare them to dogs due to their friendly behavior and the fact that they make fantastic pets.

🪿 Due to their curly feathers, this breed of geese are flightless, so they will not be flying away anytime soon.

🪿 Sebastopol geese are considered a threatened species. There are less than 5000 worldwide.

We often walk the property in winter to see how things are looking, see what needs to be done and dream up a wish list of additions for the upcoming season. On my walk, I saw that one of my favorite hydrangea varieties on the farm was demolished by a deer.

🍋As the saying goes, when life gives you lemons make lemonade. I brought in the broken branches, grabbed my rooting powder and propagated 5 Incrediball Blush Smooth Hydrangeas.

🌟 I’m the proud new owner of 5 hydrangea babies. Now, on our next property walk, I’ll need to find a good “deer free” place for them to live.
