s and The Kelsey Players. We also offer a full season of one-hour Kelsey Kids events! At Kelsey Theatre, we, and our Resident Production Companies acknowledge mistakes of the past and have pledged to take active
steps in creating true diversity, equity and inclusion in our productions through systemic policy change and individual accountability. We established The Kelsey Forward Initiative to help guide us to foster an inclusive environment for people of all races,
genders, nationalities, creeds, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, and abilities. We hope you will join us in moving

Kelsey Theatre is also Home of Tomato Patch Workshops, Central NJ's premiere multi-disciplinary summer arts workshops in theater, dance, vocal music, visual art and video production for students in grades 5 thru 12, in addition we feature Tomato Patch Jr. - Saturday morning Creative Theatre Workshops for students in K thru 6th grade, during the school year.

Tomorrow begins performances of The Ballad of Mulan presented by: Huaxia Chinese School at Plainsboro

The Ancient Chinese tale of Mulan is brought to life in a unique multi-disciplinary performance by Huaxia Chinese School at Plainsboro. This drama is enhanced by poetry, music, songs, dances, and of course Chinese martial arts to create a stunning performance, narrated in Chinese and English. According to legend, Mulan took her aged father's place in the conscription for the army by disguising herself as a man. She becomes a formidable warrior as she fights and saves China. When the Emperor ultimately honors her for her long and distinguished military service, she declines the position of high office he offers, and returns home to her beloved family.
