The Science of the “Snap, Crackle, and Pop” 🧪🥣
In our after-school sessions last week, the Little Chefs at Cambridge Community Schools took on the “Sticky Challenge.” We explored how heat changes textures—transforming fluffy marshmallows into the perfect culinary “glue” to hold our crispy treats together.
It’s hands-on, it’s messy, and it’s exactly the kind of exploration we have planned for our 6-week Summer Workshop!
Why school staff, kids and parents love our program?
• Real Skills: We practice heat safety, knife handling, pouring, mixing, and even-pressing techniques.
• Sensory Learning: Exploring different textures from liquid to solid building independence and confidence.
• The Best Part: Eating a delicious “experiment” or taking it home to share!
We are bringing this same energy to our summer program starting July 6th. If you want your child to spend their summer creating, tasting, and learning, grab one of our remaining spots today!
Workshop Dates: July 6 – August 14 [Monday thru Friday]
Time: 9 am-12pm
Ages: 7–12
Location: Western Mass base 📍We are a mobile culinary business and partner with schools, community centers, and businesses to provide opportunities for our kids. This year we are partnering with a Holyoke School!
