The Utah Cultural Celebration Center is closed today, Monday, June 15, in observance of Juneteenth.

As we take time to honor freedom, history and the ongoing pursuit of equity, we also invite you to join us later this week for a special Juneteenth celebration as part of our Shared Stories series.

Created in partnership with PBS Utah and Sema Hadithi, this evening will bring people together through learning, connection and community care. Guests will have the opportunity to connect with Black-operated organizations and community-centered groups, participate in an interactive educational experience led by Robert Burch of Sema Hadithi and view the PBS documentary I Am She: The Matriarch of America.

Some moments deserve more than a passing glance.

Beginning June 8, Pride Along the Wasatch brings together a collection of photographs that capture the energy, humanity, and celebration found at Pride events across the Wasatch Front. Drawn from thousands of images taken over many years, this exhibit offers a glimpse into the stories, connections, and experiences that shape our community.

Stop by the Utah Cultural Celebration Center and spend some time with the images, the memories, and the people behind them.
