You might laugh as you scroll. Honestly, I did for a split second. Employees in today’s market are no laughing matter.
Employers need to be prepared now more than ever. Get creative! Think outside the box!
(1) Seek out talent and pay accordingly. Do not seek out Talent and low ball the offers! Do not sit on your candidate pool because you want to see what’s out there. You are essentially telling your top candidates they are second choice! In the mean time, they have been hired by your competiton whom are excited and appreciates their value. (2) Show appreciation daily to your EXISTING employees. They are GOLD in your GOLD MINE. You need them more than they need you. Find out why they continue to support your business! Hone in on their reasonings and develop a strategic plan which aligns with your business and their needs.
(3) Provide your employees with opportunities for growth. Growth isn’t alway about a career change or promotion. Employees may want to develop a new skill or take a class. Consider paying for it. (4) Embrace and understand the importance of Work-Life Balance.
