As a Chief I struggle trying to find different ways to make sure my crew has a perfect balanced lifestyle. I am constantly pulling them away from their families . Running calls, Training, working at the station, pushing them to stay in shape. My job is to find ways to help them do as much of this as I can, most of the time with very little resources. BIG step today thanks to VFIS awarding TVFD with the 2024 Heath & Wellness grant.
TVFD will now have our own on site workout facility.

Thanksgiving Dinner at the fire house. TVFD in conjunction with the West Tawakoni branches of American Legion, VFW, AMVETS, as well as WTPD, Lake Side Community Church, and the Tawakoni Fire Auxiliary Board. Will be providing Thanksgiving dinner for some of our less fortunate locals. 11/22/2023 11:00am to 3:00pm come eat for free.

It's our annual Fill The Boot weekend. Stop by any of the four location and show your support. The team will be out rain or shine.

The Board met Monday Night and went over the plans for Serving Thanksgiving Dinner for some of our local citizens in need.
