Natural Red Catering started from a passion to make authentic southern smoked barbecue in an area unfamiliar with barbecue done the right way and frankly hard to get around these parts. Our passion extends to our personal life as we frequently entertain friends and family at our home. You won't beat our prices; compare us to other caterers or barbecue restaurants. party. We can feed 2 to 250+ people. Pitmaster Brian Walrath was first exposed to true slow smoked barbecue while in college in North Carolina. He's traveled all over the states and in every prominent barbecue region of the US to learn and sample the best there is in our truly American cuisine! Brian's passion is also on display several times throughout the year competing and honing his craft on the KCBS (Kansas City Barbecue Society) circuit in the Mid-Atlantic and beyond, competing from Pennsylvania to Georgia and many parts in between. Sandwich Saturday tomorrow at What is teres major? I'm glad you asked! Teres major is a lean, tender, and flavorful cut of beef from the chuck, or shoulder area, of the cow. It's located below the front leg and is similar in size to pork tenderloin. Also known as "shoulder tender" or "petit tender", teres major is a versatile cut that can be grilled, broiled, or pan-seared. Think tenderness of a filet and the bold beef flavor if a Ribeye!
