Last Month members of Boston Lodge #10 purchased $2500 worth of food for our local food pantry Rose’s Bounty. We were also able to pair this with a $1500 donation to assist with replacement of the refrigerator system. This was possible due to a generous ENF grant and the hard work of our members! This will be paired with a mini food pantry that was installed outside our Lodge where people can leave or take canned goods as needed. Special thanks to our DD Designate Dennis Durant, members Jim Riley, Pat Kelly, Jose Ruiz, and Dave Greenwood for help delivering the items to Rose’s Bounty, members Catherine Kelly and Ryan Stirling and Esquire to DD designate Rick Swan for helping to purchase the food, member George Keheyas for assembling and installing the mini food pantry. Very proud to be a part of this Lodge!

Congratulations to the amazing kids who made it all the way to the Massachusetts State Finals in the Soccer Shoot competition. These kids won their Lodge shoots, and district shoots, and then qualified to compete today representing the Metro-West District. For the first time in history, every Metro-West competitor placed at the state finals!!!!

U12 girls: Sophie Luna (Boston #10) 3rd place
U8 girls: Abby Stuart-Shor (Boston #10) 2nd place
U8boys: Nathan deOliviera (Brighton #2199) 2nd
U12 boys: Jeovanni Lenin-Otiz (Boston #10) 2nd
U14 boys: Lester Escobar (Brighton #2199) 2nd
U10 boys: David Villafuente (Boston #10) 1st place

In addition to placing first in the u10 age group, David Villafuente won the overall high-score trophy for the Senior Division which encompasses age groups u10, u12, and u14.

David will be representing the state of Massachusetts in the U10 Boys Region 1 (New England and New York) that will be held in 2 weeks in Portland, Maine.

Congratulations to all!!!

Today our Lodge was able to play Santa for a few special families of local Veterans. These families were formally homeless and are thankfully now able to spend this Christmas in a home of their own with assistance from the VA. Boston #10 partnered with the VA to ‘adopt’ these families and help provide some presents that might not have otherwise made it on Santa’s sleigh.....

Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen!!! There are going to be bunch of smiling faces on Christmas morning for sure!
