I've never fitted in and so many times I wanted to, but frankly I'm glad I didn't. Yesterday was by far the bravest thing I ever done. I know someone knows the fear of being judged the fear of failing in front of people the fear of the unknown future for yourself, the fear of making the wrong decision, the fear of what comes with the new journey in your life. I'm far from perfect. I fail daily but I try my best and that can look different depending on the day I'm having. I'm just a woman that's trying to give it her all for my family and myself.
Thank you for showing up for me and always allowing me to be free to be me Cynthia Gilder. For that I'm forever grateful momma. Jessica Love-Simone we're here!

Are you hosting a business event with speakers?

Did they sign a speaker engagement letter/ contract to know their responsibilities as a speaker? This should at least include their title, date and time of the event, time they should arrive, the amount of time they have on stage, the topic you want them to discuss, and did I mention the responsibility to share your event and link on their social media platform.

Regardless if they are doing the event free of charge or being paid always have a contract and always hold them responsible for keeping their side of the bargain.

I know I have planned numerous events in last 4 years and even with a team it can get overwhelming. A great way to get back focus is to think of these simple questions…

✅What is my purpose?

✅Who am I trying to reach?

✅What do they need?

✅What do I want my audience to leave from my event with?

✅What do I want from this event?

✅What is my role during this event?

What are you doing to get prepared for your events?
Tip of the day: Do not do it all by yourself. If you have a team already established in your business add duties that they can assist you with during the planning process. Call in Family and friends to help see your event through. Hire an event planner to assist with legal contracts.
