I had so much fun creating this paint-themed freestanding balloon garland for Bristyn’s birthday party at Splatter 101 in Mountain Grove, MO! Bristyn picked out her favorite colors, and I brought them together to create this vibrant and playful display—proving that custom balloon magic can still happen on a budget under $200!

This setup was a freestanding grab & go garland, which means it was:
✔️ Easy to transport
✔️ Quick to set up and take down
✔️ Perfect for smaller venues or parties on-the-go
✔️ Still made a big statement for the birthday girl!

This past Saturday, we had the honor of creating a balloon display for a sweet "Baby-Q" themed gender reveal for our amazing repeat clients, Taylor and Sean!

The space was decked out in pink and blue gingham plaid, and we brought in over 30 feet of soft pink and baby blue balloons to complete the look. The balloons were styled around cardboard marquee letters provided by the client—which, while a little tricky to work with, turned out great in the end! I still believe cardboard marquees are a fun and budget-friendly alternative to wooden ones when paired with a full balloon install.

This setup was especially meaningful to me—Taylor was one of the very first clients to trust me with a large balloon install when I designed a display for her and her mom’s store’s grand opening. Getting to celebrate this new chapter and the upcoming arrival of their first baby was such a full-circle moment.

Whew—what a weekend!
From grab & go garlands and Easter deliveries to bounce house rentals and full balloon installs… we’ve been busy making parties pop! 🎈

First up from our packed weekend lineup: a fun and sporty Luxe Ms. Palla P. Package for Bo’s 1st birthday party!🏈

This football-themed setup featured our white bounce house with slide + ball pit, dressed in a half balloon arch of green, brown, and tan—complete with custom latex football balloons for that extra touchdown moment. We personalized the front with varsity-style vinyl lettering reading "Happy Birthday Bo" (and let’s just say… I won’t be using that font again anytime soon—lesson learned!).

This past weekend, I had the honor of helping prepare Mulberry Home for their ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have been a small part of such a big milestone!

To help bring Adonia’s vision to life, I created a custom balloon chandelier featuring florals sold in her beautiful new store, a 4-foot outdoor balloon garland to accent the signage, and even helped with planning details—like preparing the fresh-squeezed lemonade pouches that were served as refreshments during the event!

I’m so excited to watch this charming new business grow and so grateful to Adonia for trusting me with such a special moment. It’s always a joy to celebrate the wins—especially when they’re this sweet.

A Day of Growth, Gratitude & Red, White, and Balloons! 🎈🇺🇸

This week, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to St. Louis, MO to attend a 4th of July balloon class focused on corporate clients—and wow, what a day!

Hosted by one of my absolute favorite balloon brands, Betallic, and held at the beautiful HICO STL, this experience was filled with inspiration, education, and connection. Michelle and Derrick, the amazing owners of HICO, were so kind and welcoming—it was such a gift to meet a balloon distributor within a day’s drive from home!

The class was taught by the incredibly talented Bre from Elevated Impressions, who traveled all the way from Cape Cod to share her knowledge. It was an honor to learn from someone with so much expertise in the industry.

Spending time with some of the best and most seasoned artists in the balloon industry was not only motivating, it was refueling. I walked away with fresh confidence, new ideas, and an even stronger passion for where I see Katie Lynn Co. Events heading—both now and in the future.

I can’t wait to bring what I’ve learned back to my clients and continue to raise the bar and set the standard in my community.

Okay, I’ll admit it… it almost feels like cheating when I post a setup I designed for my own kiddo—but at the end of the day, this is still my work, my creativity, and my passion. And honestly? I love getting to share it with all of you.

For my sweet boy’s 2nd birthday, we went full Paw Patrol with a bold balloon color palette of royal blue, red, soft yellow, and paw print accents. We added a custom vinyl backdrop, white pedestals wrapped in paw prints, and a fun balloon marquee to complete the look.

To make the day even more special, I designed custom cake toppers and cupcake toppers, and we set up a kids table complete with coloring placemats to keep the littles entertained—it was the perfect indoor setup for a very rainy day.

Designing for my own family always hits different—it’s personal, it’s joyful, and it reminds me why I love what I do.

On Thursday, April 3rd, I loaded the transit van to its max capacity- balloons riding on my shoulders- for a rainy day delivery.

I had the opportunity to create four custom balloon columns to help kick off the West Plains Downtown stroll, a fun monthly event where over 20+ local shops, restaurants, and businesses keep their doors open late for an evening of shopping, dining, and community connection.

Each column was topped with the West Plains Downtown logo to add a festive and welcoming touch to the event—and I loved seeing them bring color and energy to the heart of our town! 🎈

If you haven’t experienced the Downtown Stroll yet, mark your calendar for the next one—it’s the perfect way to support local and enjoy all that West Plains has to offer.

✨Special thanks Unified Systems, LLC staff for assembling the columns with the toppers and putting them in place for the stroll. I’m happy to report the balloons survived the fast moving thunderstorm that rolled through Thursday after they had been set out. You just never know how outdoor installs are going to go! 🤪

This past Sunday, we had the honor of being part of Pomona Christian Church’s Ladies Tea—a lovely event filled with fellowship, laughter, and heartfelt conversation.

We were so excited to debut our brand new floral wall, which made the perfect photo backdrop, complete with a custom sign designed just for the occasion. It was such a joy to see it all come together and to be asked to contribute to such a meaningful gathering.

A huge thank you to Gather Together Event Rentals, LLC for providing the gorgeous loose florals that dressed up each table so beautifully.
