Happy National Honey Day! 🐝🍯

Behind every spoonful of honey is an incredible story of teamwork, dedication, and nature at work. Honey bees play a vital role in pollinating the plants that feed our communities, while local beekeepers work year-round to care for their hives and produce one of nature's sweetest gifts.

That's why we were so proud to partner with the Palm Beach County Beekeepers Association to host the first-ever South Florida Fair Honey Show during the 2026 Fair. The judged competition showcased some of the region's finest local honey while giving thousands of Fair guests the opportunity to learn more about beekeeping, pollinators, and the important role they play in agriculture.

At the South Florida Fair, education is just as important as entertainment. Programs like the Honey Show help connect our community with local agriculture while celebrating the hardworking individuals who make it all possible.

Happy National Honey Day to all of the beekeepers helping our community flourish! 💛🐝

Thoughts and action. 💪🇨🇴

Community has always been at the heart of who we are at the South Florida Fair, and to us, that spirit of community extends far beyond the Fairgrounds.

Following the devastating earthquake in Colombia, members of Team Fair came together to collect diapers, first-aid kits, toothbrushes, toothpaste, personal care items, and other essential supplies to support relief efforts and the families who need them most.

Moments like these remind us of the power of people simply choosing to care, contribute, and show up for one another. We're incredibly proud of our team for doing just that. 💙

Our hearts are with the people of Colombia, the families impacted, and everyone lending a hand in the road ahead.

For more than 100 years, the South Florida Fair has been a place where our community comes together to celebrate creativity, learning, and imagination. One tradition that continues to inspire year after year is our School Art Project.

For the 2027 South Florida Fair, students throughout Palm Beach County are invited to bring A Mythical South Florida Fair to life by creating a one-of-a-kind mythical code of arms. Once completed, these incredible works of art will be displayed throughout the Shiner Law Group Expo Center for all 17 days of the Fair, where hundreds of thousands of guests can admire the talent and creativity of our local students!

We're grateful to the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections for sponsoring this year's School Art Project and helping provide young artists with an opportunity to showcase their work on one of our community's biggest stages.

Art teachers can apply now through September 9, with cash awards available for elementary, middle, and high school winners, along with People's Choice Awards selected by Fairgoers.

The best events aren't built in a bubble. They're built through shared ideas, strong communities, and people who never stop learning. 💙

Last week, members of Team Fair headed to Fort Myers for the Florida Festivals and Events Association Annual Convention, where our team spent the week learning, connecting, exchanging ideas, and even volunteering their time in different areas throughout the conference.

And we brought home a little extra sunshine, too. ☀️🏆

Team Fair was honored with EIGHT SUNsational Awards, recognizing the creativity, collaboration, and hard work happening behind the scenes at the South Florida Fair.

We're proud of the awards, but we're even prouder to be part of an industry where organizations don't just compete; they learn from one another, show up for one another, and work together to create experiences that strengthen communities across Florida.

We're coming home inspired, grateful, and full of new ideas for what's ahead. Because when our team grows, so does the experience we're able to create for the community we serve. 🎡✨

Here's to continuing to learn, lead, lend a hand, and leave our corner of the events industry a little better than we found it.

Did you know the Sundy Feed Store is about more than fresh produce? 🌽

Each year during the South Florida Fair, guests can shop an assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables while supporting a meaningful cause. The produce is generously donated, and proceeds from the Sundy Feed Store help fund scholarships for local students!

It's one of the many ways the Fair celebrates Florida agriculture while giving back to our community.

Today is all about celebrating creativity, imagination, and the incredible things that can be built with nothing more than sand, water, and a whole lot of talent.

We're celebrating National Sand Castle Day by highlighting one of our favs from the 2026 South Florida Fair: the jaw-dropping sand sculpture created by the amazing Team Sandtastic & The Electric Dream Machine . What started as a mountain of sand became a breathtaking masterpiece that stopped guests in their tracks and quickly became one of the Fair's must-see attractions.

We're still amazed by their craftsmanship, and we can't wait to see what incredible creation they'll bring to next year's Fair! 💙🏖️
