He earned the enmity of a powerful official named Haman. Ahasuerus had promoted Haman and ordered everyone to bow when he passed by, but Mordecai refused. We must see the Word of God in the highest terms. While the gospel is a radical new order for the city, it is nothing less than a nation saver. This is not a pleasant, Sunday-afternoon religion with a sprinkle of spirituality, a bit of psychology to help us along. We do not provide prayer as a generic tranquilizer. We do not promote a pray-and-feel-calmer brand of meditation or hold classes in spiritual aerobics. Church is not just a place for "the old to close their eyes and the young to eye their clothes." It is a power pack for the nations, designed to put a dynamic charge into all life. God is not a mini-God. He is the God of heaven and earth, kings and kingdoms, presidents and republics. He presides over the eternal destiny of us all. The era of mass evangelism was thought to have passed by the time of the last world war. In fact, true mass evangelism had never been known and was only just beginning… I myself saw over 1.6 million people in one Gospel-meeting in Nigeria. Jesus promised, "Anyone who has faith in me will do even greater things than I have done" (see John 14:12). That had something to do with the real work of God - SALVATION. Now we are seeing Christ's words fulfilling themselves. Be part of God’s move. Blessed?
