Shore Running Experience After more than a dozen years as a running camp at Monmouth University, we now provide first-class support to area races & fitness events.

Upcoming 2024 events: the Big Bang Mile (7/13); the Sheehan Classic 5K (8/10); the Monmouth Mile (8/29); the 9/11 Memorial 5K in Middletown (9/7); and the Jersey Shore Half Marathon and 2 Mile (9/29).

A big thank you to the JSRC for a great event at the Belmar 5! The Shore Athletic Club picked up team wins in the men’s, women’s and mixed masters categories. Troy Hill took the overall title in 24:24, with Cameron Janovic in 3rd overall in 24:43 and Michael Bond 4th in 24:51. Christiana Rutkowski was the 2nd female overall with Gypsy Cooper in 3rd. Marc Blanco was the top masters finisher for the club in 28:18.

Welcome to the 2026 Shore AC Cross Country Series!

We have exciting news this year: We are now part of the USATFNJ XC Grand Prix! We anticipate that our new partnership can potentially increase team and individual participation since our Fall schedule and geographic location compliments their other XC events that take place during the summer in the northern part of NJ.

How does this partnership affect our current teams and past participants? Answer: It depends! If you are a current member of the USATFNJ then you will earn 500 points per race that will be used for scoring in the USATF NJ XC Grand Prix. If you are not a member you have the option to join the USATF but are in NO WAY OBLIGATED TO DO SO. There will be no pressure or sales pitch to get you to join therefore there will be no impact on you. If you are undecided and need further information just let us know. As the saying goes “The early bird gets the worm” so if you have not done so here is the link to sign up: https://runsignup.com/Race/NJ/Holmdel/AdultCrossCountrySeries. Same great price! Individual races are $10 per race, and Season Tickets are $50 so you get six races for the price of five. If you miss one event you break even.

New Penn Relays event! Join us at the Ott Center for the Penn Relays Mile Showcase on November 24th! Use all of that fall XC and marathon training fitness and set a new mile PB on the fast 200m banked Ott Center track. There will be a section for every pace and to help with each section, utilization of our pace lights! Join us for racing, music and fun. You're not going to want to miss this!
