Family-friendly until 2:30 pm. No pets please. It all started with making a good home for the grapes. We began building that 'home' with an empty slate. The vineyard has a story. This place held promise for much more than the rugged fields and scattered stands of fir trees foretold. After careful planning and site preparation the professionals were brought in to evaluate what grapes would grow bes

t here on Pete's Mountain. The rows were plotted to make the best use of how the sun moved across the sky. The soil was turned and stakes set in place. Acre after acre the young vines were planted and strung up to take what nature had for them in this new home. One never quite knows what will happen. We waited. This summer we were delighted to receive our very first harvest of grapes, enough to produce a limited batch. Like proud parents we lift our glass to toast the realization of the dream. Looking forward, we envision being able to harvest a bountiful yield in another year or two. Until then we have been blessed to partner with local wineries for a splendid selection of classic vines to enjoy right here in this special place we call Tumwater Reserve. Visit us in beautiful West Linn for an incredible experience tasting our current-releases. We offer a $20 flight of Tumwater wines, and of course all are available to enjoy by the glass (complimentary tastings for Wine Club Members). Make the experience last. Take some home and enjoy it anytime you want to.

Fresh flavors, warm evenings, and dinner plans handled. Join us on Thursdays from 4-8 pm for rotating seasonal dinners. Reservations are required if you would like dinner! We always stay open for lite bites and wine tasting too. No need to be a club member, swing by and see what we are about.

THIS WEEKEND: Complimentary wine tastings up the road at Open Sky

This weekend, sip complimentary tastings of Tumwater Vineyard wine while touring Sitara Homes' flagship home, Open Sky, featured on this year's NW Natural Street of Dreams tour!

Sitting at just under 6,800 square feet, Open Sky is a modern farmhouse with five bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, and a wellness center sitting on almost four acres overlooking the Willamette Valley.

Wine at Sunset
Enjoy a complimentary tasting of our finest wines and sip on it as you explore the house. We encourage you to stay for the light coming off the valley in the evening, it's truly breathtaking.

Friday, 8/21: 4 to 7 pm
Saturday, 8/22: 4 to 7 pm
Sunday, 8/23: 4 to 6 pm

Service is for 21 and over only.

Hedging is an important part of vineyard management because it helps maintain a balanced canopy and healthy, consistent vine growth. By trimming excess foliage and shaping the vines, it improves airflow and sunlight, which can help reduce disease pressure while supporting even fruit ripening.
