Pre registration is now open at Healing Through Movement Dance Competition. Competition dates are March 11th and 12th at Granger High School. We are thrilled to be teaming up with to bring awareness to childhood cancer and help support those in our community who have had a cancer diagnosis.

AUDITION ALERT!!! This year, we will be teaming up with to spread awareness and help a family in our community affected by a cancer diagnosis. We want all of you amazing dancers to get involved in this amazing cause!

To audition you must be able to attend all 3 dates below.

Audition- Friday, November 12th from 7:00-8:30pm
Location: Gravity Dance Center

Practice- Saturday, November 13th from 12:00-5:00pm
Location: Gravity Dance Center

Film Day- November 20th from 12:00-5:00pm
Location: Studio Draper (12441 S 900 E, Draper)

Cost- $25 at time of audition.

Age- 7-18

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Join us on March 11th and 12th to spread awareness and funding through the art of dance. We are teaming up with to help a family in our area who has been affected by a cancer diagnosis. This will be our best event yet! We hope to see you there!

We hope you will join us this year at our 2022 HTM Dance Competition for charity. HTM will be making some awesome updates this year, including audio judging, and easier registration and music uploads! We know this is going to be our best event yet at HTM!
This year, we are excited to announce that we will be teaming up with the Millie's Princess Foundation to raise funding for a family in our area battling childhood cancer.
We are very eager to be spreading awareness toward childhood cancer this year during our event. Unfortunately, it seems we all know a family in our circle that has experienced or is currently battling a cancer diagnosis. With your help, our goal is to lessen the burden for at least one family in our community and free them from any financial stress they have been given due to cancer treatment.

What a successful weekend it was at Healing Through Movement Dance Competition. With all of your help and support we were able raise $15,484.00 for Intermountain Healing Hearts. We want to thank everyone who had a part in helping us host such a successful event. Thank you to our participating studios for the positive energy you brang to the event. Your dancers looked beautiful on stage and we are so grateful you chose HTM this year. We hope you left with a warm feeling in your heart that you made a difference this weekend.
Thank you to the volunteers at you were so awesome to work with and we loved getting to know you ❤ thank you for all you do to support families affected by CHD. It was worth the wait!
Thank you to all of our volunteers, judges and tabulator. We couldn't have done this without all of your hard work. We are so lucky to have the support system we do. We can't wait to do it all again next year ❤.

Our Vision

We have a strong passion for dance and believe that it is important to use our talents to give back to the community. We started noticing over the years that at every competition we attended there was a child in the audience or backstage that was in a wheelchair, was in the middle of cancer treatments, or was affected by a disease in some other way. We wanted to be able to help these kids and let them know that the dance community was behind them. That’s why we came up with Healing Through Movement Dance Competition. It is a way for our dancers to come out and do what they love while giving back to a great cause at the same time. Each year we will work with a different charity to bring awareness to the different diseases that affect our children. This year, we teamed up MDA of Utah to help children with muscular dystrophy so that they can have a brighter future!
