Hello, my name is Jackie McKay,
and I am the proud new owner of The Shabby Chic Sisters. I feel so honored and grateful to have been entrusted with this amazing company by my talented and incredible friend, Teri.

For over 27 years, I’ve built my career in broadcasting as an on-air radio talent, marketing director, and TV show producer. Along the way, I was humbled to receive three Marconi Award nominations and an Emmy nomination. While I didn’t walk away with the trophies, the true reward has always been the impact I’ve made beyond the studio.

I’ve had the privilege of creating and producing some of Utah’s most memorable events—like Tools for Schools for multiple years, which raised over $40,000 and filled buses with supplies for kids across the Wasatch Front, two consecutive Strut Your Mutt events for Best Friends Animal Society, and large-scale celebrations like the Utah Pride Festival and MORE! These moments showcase my love for people, creativity, and bringing visions to life.

I live in Herriman, Utah, surrounded by my wonderful family—including my two amazing adult daughters and my mom, who recently moved here from Sacramento—as well as several beloved rescue animals.

Beyond The Shabby Chic Sisters, I also own and operate a successful mobile DJ and 360 Video Booth company, where I get to blend music, energy, and unforgettable experiences. When I’m not working, you’ll find me enjoying country music, curating wedding playlists, spending time with my family and pets, or volunteering with the Mascot Miracles Foundation.

At the heart of everything I do is one passion: connecting with people and creating lasting memories—whether for families, couples, or companies. I’m so excited to bring that same energy, creativity, and care to The Shabby Chic Sisters and to continue helping make dream events a reality. Let’s create something beautiful together!

Friday night magic at the Salt Flats ✨
I got a call from a bride in full-on panic mode — her wedding was that evening and she needed last-minute décor to pull it all together. I said, “Don’t worry, we’ve got this!”

A few hours later, the Salt Flats were transformed with this beautiful arch, flowers, rug, lanterns and more. It was pure magic watching her vision come to life.
