When it is time to capture your brand's story, a little preparation goes a long way. Here is a checklist to make sure your business looks its best on camera:
Make sure the parking lot is clear and your exterior signage looks sharp. Inside, give the space a good cleaning. Have your employees wear their logo'ed clothing, and make sure your company branding is visible in the shop it is all an essential part of telling your visual story.
Once we finish the interviews and transition to shooting the daily action, I want the scene to be as normal as possible. From my years of capturing real, unscripted environments I've found that the best footage happens when people just act naturally. Tell your staff to go about their regular business and simply ignore the big camera.
It is always a great idea to have some regular clients who don't mind being on camera. Not only does it show a bustling, successful environment, but we can also pull them aside for quick testimonial interviews, giving you even more valuable content to use later.
Preparation sets the stage, but authenticity makes the video.
