860 Events is back in action! ❤️ Just in the nick of time, we were able to recover from last week’s storm damage and celebrate the new Mr. & Mrs. Hayley and Robert Nyul! 💍🍾

An incredible day from beginning to end, starting with talented live musicians who created the perfect atmosphere for cocktail hour and dinner, before we took over and packed the dance floor for an unforgettable celebration. 💃🕺

Hayley and Robert, thank you for trusting us to be part of such an important day. You two are genuinely such a sweet couple, and your family and friends brought so much love and energy to the dance floor all night long! Wishing you both a lifetime filled with laughter, adventure, and many happy years together. Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs. Nyul! 🥂✨

We also have to give a huge shoutout to Brasato for serving some of the best Italian wedding food we’ve ever had. Seriously… absolutely phenomenal! 🤌🇮🇹

And another huge shoutout to Norbrook Farm Brewery! Their brand-new outdoor wedding pavilion is such a beautiful addition to Connecticut’s wedding venues. With gorgeous hillside views, a charming atmosphere, and of course fantastic brews, it’s an amazing option for couples looking for a unique place to say “I do!” 🍻🌄

Finally, we want to take a moment to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who showed us so much love and support this past week. 🙏🏼 After the extensive July 4th storm damage to our trailer and equipment, so many people stepped up to help us. To everyone who donated to our GoFundMe, offered to loan us DJ equipment, volunteered their time to organize a bake sale fundraiser, and especially to the incredibly generous person who loaned us their trailer so we could get our equipment to Hayley and Robert’s wedding this weekend while we search for a permanent replacement—we are forever grateful. 🥹💞

We never imagined we’d be sharing a post like this.

After we made a social media post looking for recommendations to repair our trailer, NBC Connecticut reached out and asked if they could share our story. We wanted to post the segment here along with our GoFundMe for anyone who would like to follow our journey or help us recover.

During the severe July 4th storm, a large tree crashed onto the trailer that stores and transports the majority of our DJ equipment. The trailer suffered catastrophic damage, and we’re still assessing the full extent of the loss to the equipment inside.

860 Events is our small, locally owned business. We have poured years of hard work, countless weekends, and our hearts into creating unforgettable weddings, corporate events, and celebrations across Connecticut. While this setback has been overwhelming, we are doing everything we can to keep our upcoming events moving forward and continue serving our amazing couples and clients.

So many people have already reached out with kind words, shared our story, and offered to help. We truly can’t thank you enough. Your support has reminded us just how incredible this community is.

Maybe the skies were rainy, but mentally we were all on an island in the sun for Mr. & Mrs. Umaña ☀️🏝️💘
Emily & Cristian’s wedding day was filled with so much warmth, joy, and love that the weather honestly didn’t stand a chance. Their families and friends were incredibly sweet, the wood-fired pizza was amazing 🍕, and the dance floor stayed packed all night long 🕺✨
