Everything about Kelly & Wade’s wedding was so intentional. They picked Big Sky because it already meant so much to them. Their guests were from all seasons of their lives and it showed during the ceremony as I’d look up and see pure joy and peace (and many tears) throughout every seat.

A month later, and I’m still thinking about these two.

Ashley and James have been part of each other’s story since they were just 12 years old. Learning about two people grow up as friends, spend time apart, find their way back to one another, and choose forever… there’s something incredibly special about that.

They were the first couple to fly into Bozeman months beforehand, ask to get coffee to get to know another, and I spent time on the wedding property the night before and morning after, interviewing their friends and families and hearing all of the stories that made them who they are.

Standing in front of them on their wedding day I felt like I was celebrating friends. And that is truly what all of this is about. 🥹🥹🥹

Yesterday was Katie & Dean’s 1 year anniversary. 🥹 I called Katie in the morning, and we caught up on the last year. Talked about life, marriage, reflecting on their big day, and all that they have to look forward to in their life together.

I look back at these photos and absolutely melt. We all felt ALL of the things. Literally laughing and crying all at once. But my favorite moment is the last photo. The embrace after the big kiss: the hug that says it all “we did it baby, now don’t ever let go.”
