Red River Valley Speedway A 3/8 mile dirt track located on the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo, North Dakota. Racing once again returned to Friday nights.

HISTORY
Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, ND has enjoyed a rich history of racing. The very first r

ace held at the track was in conjunction with the Red River Valley Fair in August of 1967. Many great drivers have run laps on the track located on the Red River Valley Fairgrounds including local heroes like Mitch Johnson to Rick Aukland. It also held nights where NASCAR drivers Ken Schrader and Kenny Wallace raced their USMTS Modifieds. NASCAR champion Tony Stewart also raced several times in an NLRA Late Model and a Sprint Car. Legendary World Of Outlaw Sprint Car drivers Doug Wolfgang, Steve Kinser, Sammy Swindel, and local favorite Donny Schatz have all raced around the speedway. RRVS was reconfigured from the original 1/2 mile to a smaller 3/8 of a mile track in the spring of 2010. Also during that time, the track switched from Friday nights to Wednesday nights. In 2012, RRVS ran its final race on August 25th until it was re-opened again in 2016.
