“It’s just a small get together.”

Then you count the family, the neighbors, and everyone’s plus one. Suddenly you need 48 chairs.

We brought this Mullica Hill setup together with a 20x20 high peak tent, six 8ft tables, and 48 chairs. An empty backyard turned into a place for everyone to pull up a seat, grab a plate, and catch up.

Who in your family says “a few people” and invites the whole town?

Last weekend, we set up our 20x20 high peak tent for a party in Mullica Hill.

This is one of my favorite tents to set up. Once the frame is together and the peak goes up, you can really see the space take shape. Then it’s time to get the tables and chairs in place and make sure everything is ready before the guests arrive.

By the time we left, the backyard was ready for everyone to show up and enjoy the day. That’s always the best part of a setup.

One question we get asked a lot: How much room do I need for a 20x20 tent?

The tent itself is 20x20, but we need a minimum 23x23 clear area for proper setup.

That extra space gives us room for the tent, stakes, and everything needed to safely secure it.

Before booking, measure your yard and make sure you have at least 23 feet by 23 feet of clear space.

Plot twist: everybody had the same idea.

Meanwhile, we’re just trying to deliver tents, tables and chairs without becoming part of the traffic report.

Ever wonder what’s going on up top of a 20x20 high peak frame tent?

This is the peak and cross cable. It’s a small part of the setup, but it plays a big role in giving the tent that high peak look and keeping the frame tied together.

You don’t really notice the hardware when everything is set up. That’s kind of the point.

I get asked this one ALL the time:

“How many people can fit under a 20x20 frame tent?”

Here’s your answer.

A 20x20 can comfortably seat around 32–40 people, depending on how you set it up and what tables you’re using.
