The South Congaree Rodeo family is deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend and longtime supporter, Mr. Paul Kirby.

For many years, Mr. Paul was one of our biggest supporters, faithfully promoting our events and helping spread his love for rodeo throughout the community. He wasn’t just a rodeo fan — he was a true friend to our rodeo family.

His kindness, friendship, and unwavering support meant more to us than words can express. People like Mr. Paul are what make the rodeo community so special, and his presence will be greatly missed.

We extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the Kirby family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Thank you, Mr. Paul, for the years of friendship, encouragement, and love you showed the South Congaree Rodeo. You will always have a special place in our rodeo family. ❤️

There may be some folks who don’t care for this event, but the 3000 folks in these stands Saturday night alone sure do and they never let us down! On behalf of BAR W Rodeo Productions LLC committee we thank you all for an amazing rodeo season for us and we cannot wait until March 2027 where we will bring the house down again under the beautiful arena lights of this venue in Lexington County! Thank you all for the continued support of all of our fans, sponsors, contestants, contractors, vendors, Lexington county EMS and sheriffs office, and Mayor Cindy Campbell!
