A couple pics from Hannah and Nikil’s special weekend! They had a Hindu ceremony and reception on Friday, followed by an American ceremony and reception on Saturday. Two full days of celebration and flowers 🤩

Hannah wanted a neutral palette for Friday since her guests would be wearing so much beautiful color and left the colorful flowers for Saturday. It was so fun to see the tent transform each day and be filled with new decor, food, and favors. So honored to get to flower for this sweet, sweet couple and be part of their wedding festivities 🤍

I’m not the best at keeping up with social media, but just thought I’d reappear for a second to say how excited I am for the weddings I have remaining in 2023! I’ve been ordering LOTS of candles, planning flower orders, and getting teams together to make it all come together.

Grateful that my days are filled with sippy cups, blocks, orders, emails, and Pinterest boards. Getting to be a florist and a SAH mama truly is such a gift!

Bless the Lord dinner ✨

I had been having this reoccurring vision of hosting a dinner party in my backyard that was beautiful and full of celebration. So that’s just what I did! I invited a few of my favorite people and we talked about the faithfulness of the Lord and blessed Him for what He’s done in our lives. Josh made a delicious meal, Connor picked up the rentals, Baker set the table, Laken plated the food, Katie took some pictures and it was a veryyyy special night that we will all remember for years to come. 🥹 Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel about getting to do life with, raise babies with, and follow Jesus with these people (and more). Thank you, Jesus!

I asked my friend Briana to bring her daughter, Lenny, in for this shoot to represent my Millie girl. I wanted a piece that would represent the wild, adventurous, and free life of a child - getting lost in creation and letting nature into their normal.

I can’t wait for Millie to pick a flower and bring it to me to press in a book or put in her hair. Or get distracted by a butterfly while she lays in some clovers with her toys.

I can’t wait to create beautiful pieces with Millie. For her to watch me arrange and want to join in. I hope she gets lost in the colors and shape and designs things that my hands never could.

If she isn’t interested in flowers, I hope she is inspired by something else and sees beauty in it the way I see it in flowers. I hope she never grows too cool for art. Or too busy for play.

And maybe in the waiting I’ll live in more wonder too - become a child again and see it all with fresh eyes like her.
