💛 A message from Friends of Marshall Square Park.

It is with a heavy heart that we share some difficult news. Due to circumstances beyond our control, tomorrow's Music at Marshall concert featuring Chico's Vibe has been cancelled and we were unable to find an alternate date that worked for the band.

In our many years of bringing free live music to Marshall Square Park, we have never had to cancel a concert completely. This one stings a little more than most, as it would have been Chico's Vibe LLC's farewell performance after five incredible summers with us. We are so grateful for every single night they brought their eight-piece orchestra and irresistible energy to this park, and for the joy they brought to this community year after year.

To Chico's Vibe, thank you. West Chester loves you and we will miss you on that gazebo stage more than we can say.

And to everyone who was planning to come out tomorrow night, thank you for your understanding and for your continued support of Friends of Marshall Square Park. This community means everything to us.

⛈️ Important Update: Thursday's Music at Marshall concert featuring Chico's Vibe has been postponed to Thursday, August 27!

We know this is disappointing, but the safety and comfort of our community always comes first. We make this call 24 hours in advance so our food truck partners have time to prepare, and we want to make sure everyone has a great experience when we do see you in the park.

Chico's Vibe LLC will be taking the gazebo stage on Thursday, August 27 at 6:30 PM. All the same great food trucks, face painting by Birl Girl Designs , balloon art by Balloons by Jim, free T-shirts at the COCOON tent, and of course free admission.

We cannot wait to see you next Thursday for one last summer night in the park! 🌳

This is the one everyone has been waiting for. Chico's Vibe brings their eight-piece orchestra and four-member horn section to the gazebo stage for the final concert of the summer, and they are going to send this season out on the highest possible note.

There's something about late summer. As the sun sets a little sooner and the nights get a little cooler, backpacks start emerging from closets and you can practically smell the stationery in the air. Back to school is just around the corner, and everyone in Marshall Square Park knows it — so they linger a little longer. They stay for one more song. Some businesses are as much a part of West Chester's story as the park itself. The Lorgus Company, established in 1976 by Eric Lorgus, is one of them.

A privately held real estate and property management company based right here in downtown West Chester, The Lorgus Company has been a fixture of this community for nearly 50 years. 🌳 Can you believe we are almost at the end of another Music at Marshall season?

This summer has been full of the kind of moments that make West Chester such a special place to live. Dancing on the lawn. Kids running barefoot in the grass. Neighbors catching up over food truck dinners. New friendships formed over a shared love of live music under the trees.

These memories do not happen by accident. They are made possible by the volunteers, members, and donors who support Friends of Marshall Square Park year-round.

🧱 Before. During. After. The Franklin Street sidewalk project at Marshall Square Park is complete!

We are so excited to share these photos of our Summer 2026 project. Thanks to the incredible work of contractor Victor Leonhard and Leonhards Landscape Construction, Marshall Square Park now has a beautiful brand new sidewalk along Franklin Street, making the park safer and more accessible for everyone in our community.

Projects like this are only possible because of the generous support of our members, donors, and sponsors. This is your investment at work, and we think it looks pretty great!
