I’ve been working on something new for Alison Leigh Photography this summer, and I’m so excited to finally share it!

Coastal Storytelling was inspired by the kind of summer evenings I love photographing most, kids moving and playing, families actually enjoying their time together, and beautiful portraits mixed in without making the entire session feel posed.

This first beach session in Avalon brought that vision to life perfectly. 🌊⛱️☀️

One of my best friends recently invited me to photograph her dreamy babygirl, Norah. I was so excited to meet Norah, and could not stop admiring her beautiful characteristics and calm demeanor. 🕊️

Babies at this newborn chapter pass in the blink of an eye. Their teeny features begin to change, and suddenly they’re not so tiny, leaving us parents to flip through photos to help us remember those little piggies 🦶!

🌊 One last call for families to join me during a summertime Family Photo Session in Avalon, NJ!!!

Over the past week, I’ve loved sharing my vision for photographing families during my Coastal Storytelling Sessions in Avalon. We all know there is something special about summer evenings at the shore: the sound of the waves, sandy toes, salty air, and the memories made simply by being together with your family.

After sharing my vision throughout this week, I’ve enjoyed my time getting to know the wonderful families, their personalities, and why capturing family photos at the beach means so much to them at this season of life.
