Finally getting around to sharing a little recap from RoseAnna & Avery’s beautiful wedding at The Knoll Barn on Derby Pond!

What a truly magical day…full of so much love, laughter, beautiful details, & the kind of happiness you can just feel in the room.

One of my favorite parts of catering weddings is getting to know the people behind the celebration, & I genuinely loved getting to know these two throughout the planning process. Being trusted to play a part in such an important day is something I’ll never take for granted.

RoseAnna & Avery, thank you for choosing Rustic Roots Kitchen & allowing us a seat at your celebration. It was an absolute joy to feed your family & friends & watch such a beautiful day come together.

It really takes a village to pull off every wedding and event.
My brother works 70+ hours a week, my husband works just as much, and they still show up to help move ovens, tables, equipment, and whatever else I need to make it happen. So grateful for the men behind the scenes who help keep Rustic Roots Kitchen going.
Also, a big thank you to Bucky Tardif of Tardif Heating & Mechanical for getting my ovens hooked up to my tanks!

Yesterday’s work day looked a little different! This is one of my favorite parts of what I do.

I took a trip to Barn First Creamery in Westfield, Vermont to hand-select a variety of their specialty cheeses for an upcoming locally inspired grazing display.

Getting to visit the farms and producers behind the ingredients I serve gives me an even greater appreciation for what goes onto each display. There are real people, animals, land, skill, and a lot of work behind every type of cheese.

I’m incredibly grateful to have such beautiful products being made practically in our backyard here in the Northeast Kingdom and even happier that I get to showcase them through Rustic Roots Kitchen.

What a fun afternoon at Rustic Roots Kitchen for the Fall Paint Sesh with Natalie of The Creative Buzz! Everyone absolutely nailed their paintings, and I truly loved getting to welcome such a great group into my space, gather around the tables, eat some good food & create together.

And of course, one of my favorite parts of hosting anything is dreaming up the menu. I love creating something a little different for every event and finding ways to make the food part of the whole experience.

A huge thank you to Natalie for leading such a fun class and to everyone who came out, painted, snacked, laughed & spent the afternoon with us!
