It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Mike, proprietor of Cape Winds Florist and community servant. Mike was a loving husband, father & grandfather. Those who knew him know he had a heart of gold and was deeply devoted to his family, friends, and his faith.

Mike's life was a beautiful melody of love and service, a symphony that will continue to play in the hearts of all who knew him. He taught us that the measure of a man is not in the wealth he accumulates but, in the love, he spreads and the faith he shares. Mike Downes was a man who truly walked in the light of the Lord, and his footsteps have left an indelible mark on the path of life. His spirit will forever be a guiding star in the lives of his family, friends, and community.

We will be closed on Tuesday, 3/24/26 to honor and celebrate Mike.
Visitation will be held from 9am - 10:30am in the Seashore Community Church, 446 Seashore Rd., Lower Township. Mike's celebration of life ceremony will follow and begin at 10:30am.

We will reopen on Wednesday, 3/25/26 at 9AM.
