We had a wedding in Alpena today so we of course had to check out Friends of the Alpena Farmers Market and support other local farmer marketer’s 💕

Today at 6:50am we showed up at our local farmers market West Branch Farmers Market. We were the 2nd ones to arrive. We pulled straight thru to the first parking spot. We were greeted by the other vendor with “hi, you have to park two spots back”. We asked why and was told it was for another vendor. I had replied back that I had asked the city about rules, parking and setting up at the time of registration and was told it is based on a first come first serve basis. “Well if you want to start waves” was the respond I got back. Excuse me? What kind of behavior do we have going on at our farmers market? I was appalled. To be treated so rudely by other vendors in this community is exactly why there are only 6 vendors that participate here! Do BETTER! Be BETTER!!
