We had three wonderful portrait sessions with Isabella and Company this past year. The first was with her fur baby Dreamer in the park and at the lake. Next we spent an afternoon at the stable with her horse Tucker. More recently she brought her newest fur baby to our studio. Delta had a lot of puppy energy.

For over 40 years this framed portrait has graced the walls of our studios. My father Chuck captured this during a session in the mid 1980’s. Way before digital, this was captured on film. There was no instant gratification. You had to wait about a week for the film labs to develop the negatives and make proofs. You really did not know what you actually captured until the lab delivered the proofs. I assisted with the session and remember the baby relieving himself on his father. We all had a good laugh, cleaned everything up and carried on. When the proofs came back my dad was sorting through them. I remember he kept trying to wipe off what he thought was a hair. It would not come off. That’s when we realized he captured the exact moment this little guy started to go. The beginning of the stream just hit the father’s chest and created a splash as the image was captured. This little man must now be in his forties. Photography
