Memorial Day is a day to remember those fallen soldiers that paid the ultimate sacrifice for us as Americans. I proudly raise the flag in honor of those fallen heroes and for what it symbolizes in this great country including the freedoms we have, even though freedoms to disagree with different ideas. This particular memorial Day weekend I’m more proud than ever because my flag had become tattered through the high winds at the farm, but with the best mother ever that can do almost anything, Mom sewed up the flag to perfection and helped me raise it this weekend along with helping plant our garden and more of her beautiful flowers! God bless America and my Mom!

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!!! After a crazy early start to the winter, more moderate weather has arrived for this Christmas in time for safe travels, time with family and time to reflect. Reflecting at another year on this amazing journey leaves me with a feeling of optimism in 2026! Completion of the renovations to the barn are expected by Memorial Day and we are looking forward to being able to book weddings, reunions, parties, and other events at this historical former dairy barn and still farmed original 80 acre farm, homesteaded in the early mid 1860’s. https://coveredbridgeestate.com

Enjoyed a beautiful autumn day at Covered Bridge Estate! We are excited, heading into November to begin phase 2 of the remodel, focusing on the lower level of the barn which will have heat and air conditioning, his and her multi stall bathrooms, a massive bar and glass garage door that opens out into the bullpen where you can enjoy music from the bandshell and drinks from the outdoor bar while watching amazing sunsets like that of today! God willing, construction will be completed by Memorial Day, so start thinking of planning your wedding, family reunion, company retreat, or any other event or activity beginning this summer to enjoy the magic and beauty of the farm. WEDDING SEASON!!! With renovations of the barn continuing, we hosted our first large scale wedding of close to 150 guests. All involved enjoyed the beautiful weather, the beautiful landscape and scenery and all of the beautiful original features of the barn we have worked so hard to preserve. we were grateful to have been able to provide the space, venue and amenities for our guests and extend our prayers to the young couple for blessings throughout their marriage. https://coveredbridgeestate.com/
