People ask me all the time how I do everything that I do and the answer is, I don’t. I am very blessed to have some great staff to help me. While Jesse and I are off at The Ridge working a wedding, these hard-working young ladies are holding down the fort back in Princeton. I left them a truck, some totes, and instructions and they are handling the rest. There’s no better feeling than being able to delegate to some very capable, very responsible people and not have to worry. ❤️

It's Wedding Week for Rachel & Will!

We are thrilled to welcome Rachel and Will to Lost River Ridge this weekend as they celebrate their special day!

The fall foliage is expected to be near peak color, providing a breathtaking backdrop for the festivities.

We can't wait to put the finishing touches on the Byre and Event Tent and bring their wedding day vision to life!

Well…this is a post I knew was coming, but it still feels a little surreal to actually write it. ❤️

After nearly five years, Lost River Ridge is officially for sale.

This wasn’t an easy decision.

We aren’t selling because Lost River Ridge hasn’t been successful, and we certainly aren’t selling because we’ve stopped loving it. Quite the opposite. This property has given our family five incredible years of memories, wonderful guests, beautiful weddings and experiences we never could have imagined when we purchased it.

But we live 90 miles away, and over time we’ve realized that the distance simply isn’t practical for our family anymore.

At the same time, Claire Voyant Events & Design is celebrating SIX years in business and we’re busier than ever. We have a full fall of weddings we’re designing and decorating at venues throughout the area, and we still have one very special wedding left here at Lost River Ridge on October 18.

So, no… we aren’t leaving the wedding business. ❤️

In fact, the past six years of working in so many different wedding venues, combined with five years of actually owning and operating one, have taught me more than I ever could have imagined.

What works.

What doesn’t.

What couples really need.

What vendors need.

What I would do differently.

And what I would absolutely do again.

And somewhere along the way, all of those lessons started turning into another dream.

I’m not quite ready to tell you all about that yet. 😉

For now, we’re going to enjoy these last chapters at Lost River Ridge, celebrate everything this beautiful property has given us, and hopefully find its next owners who will love it as much as we have.

And then…

Well, I think we’re going to have a pretty interesting story to tell.

I’m planning to take you along for the whole thing - from where we are today to wherever this next chapter takes us.

Three weddings. One incredible family. 💜💚🧡

It has been such a joy and an honor to be part of three Dilbeck family weddings. There’s something incredibly special about being invited back, again and again, to help celebrate some of the biggest moments in a family’s life.

When you own a small business, you hope to gain customers, but the greatest gift is when those customers become friends. The trust this family has placed in me means more than I can say.

I absolutely love this awesome family and I’m so grateful for the memories we’ve made along the way. I can’t wait to watch each of these couples, and the entire Dilbeck family, continue to grow, love, and thrive in the years ahead. And the wait won’t be long with two babies coming in the next six weeks! 💗🩵

To me, this is what having a successful business is really all about. 💒
