Putting in some volunteer hours again to help serve the community. It is always a joy to meet so many wonderful people, and assist with the City of Faith Food Hub in any capacity I can. I was told they served 100 participants today.

After hearing about the officer involved shooting, I was deeply moved, not only by the tragedy, but by the sacrifice they both made in serving our community. I realized that while everyone was mourning as a community, I wanted to do this Benefit Sunday as a way for the community to show our appreciation and support to the family. It was important to me that they know they are not alone, the community stands behind them! And that's exactly what the community did today! Thank you all for your support.

Last but certainly not least, thank you to The Family of Blue. Today, there was representation from, West Allis Police, Milwaukee Police, Greendale Police, Shorewood Police, Pewaukee Police, River Hills Police, Butler Police and Marquette Police Departments.

Please stay tuned for additional information regarding presentation of today's donation to the family. I will keep you all posted.
