Bishop’s Sweets & Catering is Hosting a Thanksgiving Turkey Drive!
Let’s come together to make a difference this holiday season.

From November 2nd through November 22nd, we’re accepting donations to help provide Thanksgiving meals for families in need.

I wanted to assist in some way to help those who are experiencing hardships. With the help of my family and friends, it is my sincere hope to provide full Thanksgiving meals to at least 10 families this year. If you are able, I kindly ask for your support to make this possible.

November is Men’s Health Awareness Month.
As men, many of us have been conditioned directly or indirectly to “push through,” stay silent, or assume that strength means ignoring what we feel physically, emotionally, or mentally. But real strength is not found in endurance alone. It is found in wisdom, accountability, and the willingness to take proactive care of ourselves.

This month, I want to speak to my brothers fathers, husbands, uncles, sons, colleagues, and friends: your health matters. Your life matters. The people who love you need you healthy, strong, and present.

Make this the month you:
✅ Schedule your annual check-up
✅ Get your blood pressure, cholesterol, and glucose levels checked
✅ Speak to a doctor about any lingering concerns
✅ Acknowledge your mental and emotional well-being as a real part of your health
✅ Reach out if you need someone to talk to silence is not strength, transparency is

We cannot lead our families, our communities, or our businesses from hospital beds, untreated conditions, or silent suffering. Preventive care saves lives , and early detection changes outcomes.

To every man reading this: you are worth the appointment, the exam, the test, the conversation, and the peace of mind. Let’s normalize self-care, not self-neglect.

Strong men get checked. Smart men stay informed. Wise men take action.

Let’s look out for ourselves, and for one another.

Today is National Dessert Day… and let’s be honest, this might as well be my company holiday!

I may be closed, but I still have to recognize literally the sweet part of my life. Because who would I be if I didn’t celebrate a day dedicated to the very thing that keeps life (and my business) delicious?

Let’s be real, some folks wait all year for Black Friday… me? I wait for National Dessert Day.

Calories don’t count today. So celebrate properly....grab a slice, a cookie, or a cupcake in spirit with Bishop's Sweets . After all, today isn’t just about dessert… it’s about happiness served on a plate, napkin or my favorite 👐

I seriously have the best customers in the world! This amazing couple blessed me with some gold, straight from their garden .... GREEN TOMATOES! You already know what time it is… fried green tomato season! (My late mother's favorite, this will certainly rekindle precious memories.)

Continue to enjoy the GREEN Bay Packers, while I enjoy some fried GREEN tomatoes! 😁

A Heartfelt Thank You

This past Sunday, I celebrated Bishop’s Sweets & Catering’s 5th year in business a little differently, not with a day of SALES, but a day of GIVING. In honor of this milestone, I chose to support the incredible work of The Guest House of Milwaukee of and Street Angels, Inc. Milwaukee.

When the call went out for needed supplies, my family, friends, and AMAZING CUSTOMERS once again showed up with open hearts and generous hands. Your donations truly reflect the spirit of community and compassion that defines us.

By request, the AMAZON & WALMART wish lists will remain open for one more week to continue to receive donations as I coordinate a drop-off to these deserving organizations.

🎉✨ Celebrating 5 Sweet Years in West Allis! ✨🎉

Five years ago, at the very onset of the pandemic, while completing my Culinary Management degree at WCTC and still grieving the passing of my beloved mother, Bishop’s Sweets & Catering was born. What began as a vision of resilience, faith, and purpose has grown into a community-centered business grounded in service, compassion, and excellence.

I could not have been blessed with a better home than West Allis, whose warmth and support have sustained this dream from day one. I am deeply grateful for the challenges that became valuable learning opportunities, and I look forward to continuing to grow from those experiences to strengthen and improve our overall operations.

To our loyal customers, friends, family, and community partners, thank you for believing in this journey and for helping transform a personal passion into a lasting impact.
