Thanks to an incredibly generous anonymous donation, the Community Center has brand new chairs! {350 brand new chairs and 8 dollies to move them, to be exact.} These chairs stack vertically, so they take up about 50% less room in the storage closet, are lightweight, which makes them so much easier to set up/take down before/after events, and are super comfy and durable (up to 880lbs).
The old racks of metal chairs have found their new home with the Kossuth County Fair, but we still have about 50 of the padded black metal chairs to get rid of. $10/chair.
Thank you to Karen St John, and Ruby and Daisy Mitchell for helping unload and unwrap the pallets, and to the Wesley Fire Dept. (and Samantha!) for helping finish the (bigger than we expected) task.

Little by little, we’re making this building shine again!
The Community Center is just the building itself; meaning the only revenue it brings in is rentals for events. It receives no other outside funding.
