It started with a quiet call from Lilies of the Valley last week, they needed a big fridge and some open space. Well how big? Big enough to hold all the flowers from the Decker Girl's Memorial, with space for processing so the flowers could be repurposed by family, friends, and people in the community. So would an ice rink work? 🤔

That quiet call echoed loudly with the gravity and importance of the task at hand. It was a call to carry the community in a time of need, and one we were going to answer.

A giant THANK YOU to all of the groups and people who stepped up to volunteer their time and resources to make sure it was exactly what the girls deserved, perfect. 🪽💜🩷💚

During our staff meeting yesterday we asked ourselves the same question everyone in Wenatchee has been asking themselves this week, "How can we help??!"

Which brought us back to the whole purpose of the Town Toyota Center. To be a steadfast and positive influence on the community while providing a safe space for all, and making sure everyone leaves with a smile. That's how we can help, and that's exactly what we are going to do.

Tomorrow we celebrate the graduating class of 2025 from Eastmont High School during a dark time in our little valley. Our doors and arms will be open. Bring your friends, bring your families, squeeze in and be grateful you have each other. Stay as long as you need and hug your friends. Take an extra second for each senior as they walk across the stage and lift them up in their accomplishments, they've given us a reason to smile and be thankful this weekend.

A COUPLE REMINDERS:
❗️Doors open at 4, parking is extremely limited, please come early so you have enough time to find seats! Please refer to the maps that show the current construction and road closures, as well as additional parking options. Carpool when you can, and no oversized vehicles!

❗️No balloons or large flower arrangements please! They can block views and balloons can set off our fire alarms- not ideal for graduation 🤪

‼️ Additional reminder that N Miller St is closed for turnarounds when looking for parking, please be prepared.
