We had planned to stay open through next Friday but have started to run out food. We will be open tomorrow for breakfast but tomorrow evening’s fundraiser for the WMS Cheerleaders has postponed. We have run so low on food over the last couple of days that, after talking with their coach, we’ve decided it would be best to cancel the Smokey’s fundraiser. It wouldn’t be fair to them or the community to try to run a fundraiser on what we have left. We are so sorry to do this as we know they were looking so forward to it. Thank you for your support and for your understanding. Keep your eye out for their new fundraiser plans! I know it will be awesome!

6/25/22 Edit to add as we’ve had some questions on this so I want to clarify that we did try to continue with the fundraiser, just for breakfast instead of dinner. It was not our decision to cancel it. We did offer to change the fundraiser to a breakfast fundraiser when we realized we were too low on dinner foods. Coach Frazier was worried about it being too short of notice and she made the decision to hold the fundraiser at a later date. We are sorry for all of those who are disappointed. We are disappointed as well.

After much discussion and lots of hard choices, the decision has been made that June 30th will be the last day of operation for Smokey’s, unless we run out of food first. Sadly, inflation has killed and continues to kill small businesses. The rising cost of food and fuel has made it near impossible to continue operating. We have been and are so grateful to our wonderful community for supporting us and we are so sorry to have to make this decision. It was a hard one. You’ve all been amazing! Thank you 💜

We are open! There is an event going on at Milestone so it looks super busy in Main Street, but we have room for you to come have dinner! $2 cans of beer until 8pm!

I have seen lots of posts on the swap and shop asking about ice cream. I found a local (ish) icecream company that makes all kinds of amazing flavors of ice cream. It’s a small, family owned business, like us. We love the idea of supporting a family owned business! We are considering bringing their line of ice cream to Smokey’s. It’s packaged in pint sized containers. Is this something that everyone would be interested in having?
