It’s been a little while since we’ve planned a church wedding, and I have to say, I’ve missed them!

There’s something so special about a traditional church ceremony, especially at the beautiful Saint Cecilia Church in Boston. The historic architecture, the stunning altar, and the feeling of walking down that aisle make it such a memorable setting to say “I do.”

A wedding over a year in the making, and just 48 hours before the big day, everything changed.

With a storm approaching, we had to move the celebration to an entirely new venue while keeping an intimate ceremony at the original location. It meant rethinking months of planning, but with an incredible team of event professionals, we kept the thoughtful design, the personal details, and everything that made this celebration special.

I love a wedding that comes together beautifully, but even more, I love seeing what an amazing team can accomplish when the unexpected happens. And despite all the changes, we still pulled off an incredible celebration for 240 guests. 🤍

The sword arch, the kiss, and a sparkler send-off surrounded by everyone they love. Some moments really do feel like a movie.

Have you ever seen ch*****ne sabrage at a wedding?
Instead of simply popping the cork, the top of the bottle is struck off in one swift motion. Sabrage dates back roughly 200 years and has long been associated with celebration, so naturally, some couples have made it part of their wedding day too.

After 20+ years of weddings, I still love when couples bring in a tradition or moment that feels like them. It gives their guests something unexpected to experience and definitely something to talk about afterward.
