Our Story

In 2004, when Sarah was a Sophomore at Penfield High School, Sarah’s Home Economics teacher, Janice Burkhart, told her that she was opening a bridal shop and that when Sarah got her driver’s license that she could come work with her. In March of 2005, Sarah got her driver’s license and within 2 weeks started working with Janice at Heart to Heart Bridal in Manchester, NY. Sarah ended up working with Janice through not only the rest of high school but all through college while she attended Monroe Community College and Nazareth College pursing a BA in Business Administration. In May of 2010, the month that Sarah graduated from Nazareth, Janice and Sarah opened a second location of Heart to Heart Bridal in Webster, NY. A part-time high school job turned into a lifelong passion for helping brides say yes to their dress!

Now in October of 2019, Sarah can proudly say that she has achieved her dream of purchasing this business that she loves so dearly! Sarah has decided to change the name slightly to Heart to Heart Bride, to reflect the fact that the business has evolved to deal only with brides and their wedding dress. Our entire team is so excited for our new brand and to continue on our mission of creating magical life moments for our Heart to Heart Brides!
