Tomorrow morning I turn 38. One thing I told J I wanted and it ended up working out today is I want dinner by myself. Just me. A Rita and some chips and some time.

Time. Such a weird thing. Feels like it’s so slow and so fast at alll different points in life. I read the other day middle age is now 35. Wow. How. But here we are.

How am I not where I thought I would be? How am I so much further in some ways than I thought I would be? How am I a mom? Of TWO!? How do I own my own biz? How did I marry someone so different but exactly what I need an a generational curse breaker that I would rather fight with him than love anyone else? How am I realizing grandmother hood is closer motherhood? How do I have friends for over 20 years now?

Are we done moving? Will there be career changes? What is next? I don’t really know. But…I do know who’s faithful. Thru it all. Thru the hell and thru the heaven. He is faithful. God is not against me.

I pray I have 50 more years. To grow, to learn, to fail, to help others, to see Gods faithfulness in the good and bad. I pray there are more mountain trips, beach trips, and Disney trips. But if not that’s ok.

So I encourage you. Take the EarPods to dinner. Reflect and listen to as you drink your Rita and reflect on the year. Take just a little time for you and praise God for His goodness. Cause it’s there.

Hey friends and family!

We have the sweetest girl with us for a short time! Will be moving back to Cali June 2! In the meantime, she is working some for me, but is looking for short time work from babysitting even during the day (she’s incredible with my kids, which is such a bonus and CPR trained) she is a dance teacher as well with an incredible history and résumé. If you are one of my friends that has a restaurant or shop and are needing help throughout the time period of now till then I would love for you to take a look at her!

she’s been such a blessing to our family and has truly became a part of it. We want to send her off as well as we can! So especially all my moms with Littles. This could be a great grab for you if you are needing someone.

I’ll be honest. Normally when someone is sick we separate rooms but I don’t stress too hard about people walking in. Kids. Ect.

I’m not sick thank God but sadly it’s Justin and as many know we have been having a heck of a time since Dec.

I have him totally secluded in Savs room. Haven’t let the kids in at all. Every time he’s been in the bathroom I’m spraying disinfectant like a mother.

The idea of baby or Savvy getting flu or whatever it is that’s going around, which honestly sounds like the worst I have ever heard it to be….so I’m being like extra protective. Any steps or things you would add in.

That’s Larry on the screen. But I need you to call my guy, Luke. One of my wonderful 2024 grooms!!!! Our home insurance was set to DOUBLE yall. Freaking nuts.

Our car was going up too and had doubled last year. Another insanity.

Luke got us downnnnnn on both car and home insurance with better coverage.

Cars went from 300 ish down to 220.

Home went from 7-8ish fown to 4800.

This weekend my Shawna was suppose to come down for our yearly meet up. But thanks to weather and stockshows things change. So the dinner we all had planned together had to change. But I can always count on my Meg. and I had a normal Saturday light high school. Pizza and movies and constant talking. We just added a third wheel! Next thing I’m being asked to take a picture of him and a couple hearing you know this is Dez Bryant right…let the Stillwater talk beginning. Such a sweet start to the night.
