The Drowning Girls tells the haunting true stories of three women: Bessie, Alice, and Margaret - who rise from their bathtubs to share their lives, their marriages, and the man who connected them all. This poetic and powerful play explores love, trust, and the strength it takes to find your voice.
Our production of The Drowning Girls is about more than just putting on a show… it’s about empowerment. I chose this piece to give voice back to women who were silenced, to raise awareness about abusive relationships, and to inspire strength, resilience, and change.
This show has been a true labor of love! Countless hours of rehearsal, set building, costuming, and collaboration have gone into bringing this story to life. Every moment of laughter, teamwork, and problem-solving has been driven by passion, by both students and adult creative team. We all worked together to create something meaningful and unforgettable! It has been an honor to tackle this show with this cast and crew. ❤️
Come celebrate the incredible heart, artistry, and dedication of these students as they share a story that deserves to be heard!!!
