Some events stay with you long after the last guest leaves. This was one of them.

Looking back to May 2014, I had the incredible opportunity to help organize the Greg Welch Classic Concert & Car Show and work alongside the Welch family—including the legendary Buster Welch.

The event was about far more than a concert or car show. It honored the memory of Buster’s son, Greg Welch, who lost his battle with cancer, as well as his granddaughter Whitney and three other young women who were tragically killed by a drunk driver in 1998.

What happened that day was an extraordinary example of what can happen when a community comes together around a meaningful purpose. More than $161,000 was raised to help complete the Weatherford Christian School gymnasium named in their memory.

There’s a saying in Texas: “There’s three gods in Texas: the Almighty Himself, Buster Welch, and George Strait.” Getting to know and work with the late Buster and the Welch family was an experience I’ll always treasure.

Events like this are a big part of what eventually shaped the heart behind Divine Order Events & Consulting. It isn’t simply about putting on an event. It’s about understanding the purpose behind it, bringing people together, managing countless details, and creating an experience capable of making a lasting impact.

It’s been a busy but truly blessed month.
From celebrating lives, to supporting first responders and rounding out the month by bringing awareness to the Pink Warriors, God has shown such great favor on each event. Guiding each step, every detail, and filling the rooms with wonderful people, to Him be the Glory.
Thankful. Grateful. Blessed by each and every event I get the honor & privilege of being a small part of!

Today was one for the books!!! Divine Order Events was asked by Representative David Spiller to plan, organize and execute a Jacksboro hometown fundraiser with Office of the Governor Greg Abbott in attendance to show his support.

Thank you to all those who attended and showed their support of Rep. Spiller. Thank you to the incredible event volunteers and Jacksboro Texas Police Department who helped to make all things run smoothly. A special thanks to JR'S Chophouse B&B for the delicious meal and outstanding service.
