🥂 Yesterday’s office had one heck of a view. 🥂

We had the privilege of catering a beautiful wedding at Kateri - Event & Wedding Venue, one of the most gorgeous venues we’ve ever visited. Set against the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains, it was the perfect backdrop for such a special day—and the entire team was incredibly kind and welcoming.

This morning on my personal page, I shared two pictures of my oldest son, Jesse, and me: one from when I got married and he stood by my side, and another from when he got married and I stood by his. Talk about a full-circle mom moment. And somewhere tucked away, I’m sure I have a picture of yesterday’s bride at that same age—but I’ll save that trip down memory lane for another day.

Because yesterday was about a bride who holds such a special place in my heart.

Watching her step into this beautiful new chapter was so meaningful. She was absolutely radiant, and I couldn’t be happier for her. She has found an incredible man—someone who clearly loves, cherishes and complements her—and seeing the two of them together was beautiful. Their love, joy and excitement filled the entire day.

A gorgeous bride. A wonderful groom. A stunning venue. Incredible mountain views. Beautifully laid tables. And, of course, some seriously delicious food coming out of our kitchen.

✨There’s something so special about being invited into days like these. We may arrive to cook, create and serve, but we also get a front-row seat to some of life’s biggest moments. And yesterday, the Blue Ridge Mountains certainly showed off for this one. ✨

I also can’t let this day pass without expressing my heartfelt appreciation for my husband, Andy, who works countless selfless hours behind the scenes to help bring my dreams to life. His love, support and willingness to pour so much of himself into us and our family mean more to me than I can say. I truly couldn’t do this life without him. 💝

Congratulations to the newlyweds. My heart is so full of love for you, and I’m beyond happy that you found such an incredible man to share your life with, Autumn. Trevor, I know you will honor and treasure her until your dying day. Thank you both for allowing us to be a small part of such a beautiful day. 💍

What an absolutely spectacular wedding day at Kateri! The forecast called for rain, but not a single drop fell. Instead, the skies cooperated, the views were beautiful, and these two had the perfect day to celebrate surrounded by the people they love most. 💍✨

It was such a pleasure having Dylan and Emma at Kateri, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have been a small part of their story. Thank you for choosing our little piece of the Shenandoah Valley for such an important day. 🤍
