BBQ Service Announcement!!!

I feel it necessary to send this update. We at Shacks Q try to provide the highest level BBQ at the most reasonable prices that we can offer. We love sharing great BBQ with you all. Well, the beef market has been stuck in another unfortunate turn! For the foreseeable future we will not be offering any sort of beef. Since the COVID time frame the cost of brisket on our end has just about tripled now and we have eaten the majority of that cost. I know people will pay for top product but I can't, in my mind, charge what would make sense to cover these costs and come out a little on top. So, all is not lost, we will still plan on offering pork and chicken for now and look forward to a reversal in the beef market at some point. But, for now, oink oink my friends and fellow BBQ aficionados. Appreciate you all!!!!

How it started versus how it ended!!! Soo many thank yous to go around! And just soo many people who visited us today.
We prepare for this for the entire week in advance to try to get you all some AMAZING product! We hope you all really enjoyed it and I want you to just know that we enjoy seeing and talking with each of you as we get the chance!!! Hope you all had some great BBQ today! Soo thankful for the birthday of this AMAZING nation! Long live these United States!

On the eve of, what looks to be, a BEAUTIFUL 4th of July. Come check us out for lunch at the Waynesboro Jubilee, across from the hospital. Brisket, pulled pork and pork belly bits. Also get your fill of our homemade, smoked mac n cheese or satisfy that BRISKET NACHO fix! We will be there until sold out, so come and get it early and often!!! Have a great 4th everyone! BE SAFE, PLEASE!!!!!

Brisket, pulled pork and PORK BELLY BITS! Get a sandwich or add those to top off your boat of nachos or on some of our homemade, smoked Mac n cheese. We have less brisket this year than in the past due to case weights being drastically smaller. We also have a very limited supply of the pork belly. So, get there early and get a bunch. We will be there until we sell out and then it is time to celebrate the founding of pur great nation. Come on and get it ya'll!!!!

New Jubilee menu item at Shacks Q. Hickory smoked pork belly bits. This will be intended as a topping for our nacho or Mac n cheese. If you want to try these tender, buttery bits... make sure you check us out and PLEASE stop by to say HI.

Preparations are in full swing for the 4th of July Jubilee in Waynesboro. Make sure you plan to come and get some great BBQ before it sells out on the 4th. We will have Pulled Pork and Brisket. We will definitely have the fan favorite, brisket or pork nachos. We will also offer mac n cheese (which can be topped with brisket or pork). Additionally, we will have sandwiches and meat-only options. This year, for the first time, we will also have our Shack's Q Spicy sauce available for those who love a little bit of bite with their BBQ. So, anyways, come down and check us out, say hello, grab some grub and just enjoy your day down at the Jubilee!!!!

Hey ya'll I know I have not been online with opportunities nearly as much lately. I do have some thoughts on next planned cook. I do want to update everyone that the cost of brisket has gone up about 25-30% in the past few weeks. I will probably stay away from a major brisket cook in the near future and stick to pork and chicken. I will be planning on having Brisket and pork at the Jubilee on July 4th in Waynesboro. So, plan on coming out to see us for your annual splurge on brisket and pork nachos, sandwiches, and mac n cheese. Looking at getting a new batch of shirts made also. Keep your eyes open and know that I appreciate you all and hope to get your Shack's Q fix soon!

We don't overthink it, we don't overcomplicate it.... we trim, season and smoke. Our pit temps aren't always perfect but they don't have to be. We cook with 100% hickory and cherry woods. We finish in a foil pan and vent it about 45 mimutes before pulling it to let the bark set again. We pull the brisket when it feels right, not at a certain temp. Finally, we rest for 3 to 6 hours before slicing. Most importantly we have a blast making (what we feel is) high quality BBQ. We really hope you enjoy!!!!
