Happy Halloween!

October has come to an end, and it's already time to 'Fall Back' on Sunday. But don't worry! There is plenty of goodness to look forward to in November and fun floral activities to brighten your days, even as they get shorter.

Coming up next!

Join me and kick off the holidays with a creative fall project. Grab a friend (maybe bring a bottle of wine?) and create an autumnal floral centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table. We will gather right before Thanksgiving so that your florals can be fresh for your celebrations. Take a break from the busyness and unwind with a beautiful floral experience.

Come make a Thanksgiving centerpiece with me! While I can’t believe we are already thinking about Thanksgiving, I do love me some fall décor. This class is perfect whether you are hosting and need flowers for your own table or want to show up to your celebration with a beautiful gift for the host.

In this example I used a fun combination of ingredients, including some foraged bits from my yard, garden and a local woodsy walk. In can be fun to add found objects like pine cones or dried bits and botanical elements from a fading annual garden. And in tackling some stubborn vines (what I believe to be invasive bittersweet), I was able to add some interesting texture and lines to the arrangement. Feel free to bring your own ribbon or bits to further decorate your design!

WORKSHOP
I know everyone is pumped for Fall and the pumpkin spice lattes are already flowing…. But it’s not actually Fall yet! Don’t worry though, this year the Autumn Equinox lands on September 22, which is not far off.

If you love the changing seasons as much as I do, come celebrate the upcoming Autumn Equinox by creating your own hand-made flower crown! The fall equinox has been a day of celebration all around the world since antiquity. Likewise, the wearing of flower crowns for status, style or in celebration can be seen throughout history, from ancient Olympians to Queen Victoria to music festival fans. We will be constructing our very own flower crowns using an adjustable wire base, an assortment of blooms and ribbon.
