We had the pleasure of providing flowers for a fun bridal shower this weekend. Bouquet bars are a super popular activity and they were nice enough to share pics and send to me. They made some beautiful bouquets! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Okay…Chateau de la Bourdaisière dahlia really is “all that”.
Sometimes there is a lot of hype around an expensive variety and I buy it and sometimes I’m just 🤷🏼‍♀️.
It is so pretty even with this being a wonky first bloom with a lightly blown center from the heat. It also has shimmery petals in the sun like a few types of dahlias do. I might move this up to one of my top favorites list.

We just wanted to share a quick pic of our customer that bought the first big bouquet at the market so she got a mini bouquet for free. She was going to take it to her mom at Bartels and that made me so happy!☺️

We will be at the Waverly Iowa Farmer’s market tomorrow with some exceptionally gorgeous dahlias. Every day there are more and more coming available. We will have our regular bouquets in flute ball jars and our minis.
