Well, sometimes you gotta take the good with the bad . This morning I went out and picked probably the last Bartzella, Peony in July! Sunflowers will not be happening this year due to heavy drought. With 99° heat every day this week if we plant it in the next couple of days, they would just sit there for 10 or so days with no rain in sight so we have just decided to start fresh next year and get our fields ready for sunflowers 🌻 from now on sunflowers will always be at the Peony farm since we acquired the farm next-door and can have two fields here. Have a wonderful summer and we’ll see you in June! we truly do appreciate everyone who comes to visit our farm ♥️

Following a month of diligent effort, the peonies are exhibiting notable improvement. Specifically, the Bartzella plant, which was cut back in May, has made a remarkable recovery and is now showcasing its stunning blooms. We can anticipate even more impressive flowering next year.
