Thank you to the Allamakee County Community Foundation for hosting this great workshop!
Allamakee County Agricultural Society Board members George and Bobbi attended, along with many volunteers from several other nonprofits in Allamakee County.

Today, Bobbi and Diana represented the Allamakee County Fair at the Association of Iowa Fairs District Meeting at Delaware County! 🎡

One of the most valuable parts of serving on a fair board is continuing to learn, connect and collaborate with the people behind other county fairs. Meetings like today give us the opportunity to share ideas, talk through challenges, learn what’s working in other communities and bring new ideas back home to make our own fair even better.

A strong fair doesn’t happen by accident. It takes people willing to show up, stay involved, ask questions and keep learning — even outside of fair week.

We’re excited to bring what we learned today back to Allamakee County and keep working toward an even better fair for our exhibitors, families and county. 💙🎡
