📸🍴 Behind the Scenes with Carroll University Dining & LASO!
We recently had the pleasure of hosting a private tasting with LASO — the Latin American Student Organization — right here at Carroll University. Normally, tastings are something we reserve for weddings or high-end dinners, but for groups like LASO, it’s about something even more meaningful.
These tastings help us make sure that when student organizations host their big events later in the year — like their annual gala — everything is exactly on point. From the spices to the presentation, every detail matters, especially when they’re welcoming special guests and alumni.
We do this to ensure authenticity — that the food truly represents the culture and flavors being celebrated. And if something isn’t quite right, we go back, adjust, and taste again until it’s perfect. That’s a level of collaboration and care you won’t find with an off-campus supplier — and it’s one of the reasons we love what we do.
