What an incredible evening! ❤️

Today, King’s Katering had the honor of serving over 600 people at Shepherd of the Hills Church, and what a blessing it was.

There is something special about seeing a community come together—families, friends, neighbors, and new faces all gathered around a meal, sharing conversations, laughter, and fellowship. Being a small part of that is something we never take for granted.

A huge thank you to Shepherd of the Hills Church for trusting us to serve your church family. Your hospitality, kindness, and servant-hearted volunteers made this event such a joy to be part of.

And to everyone who came out—thank you! We hope you enjoyed the food as much as we enjoyed preparing and serving it. Seeing smiling faces and full tables is exactly why we do what we do.

At King’s Katering, we believe food is about more than just a meal. It’s about bringing people together, creating memories, and serving others with excellence.

There are moments in life when you truly see how faithful God is.

As the Waukesha County Fair comes to an end, my heart is full of gratitude.

Just two weeks ago, I was in the hospital and close to canceling our entire fair. I didn’t know how we would make it happen, and at times it felt overwhelming.

But God had other plans.

He placed incredible people in my life at the right time. Family, friends, customers, and my team stepped in when I couldn’t do it alone—through prayers, encouragement, and hard work. Every act of kindness helped carry us forward.

To the Waukesha County Fair Board, staff, and everyone behind the scenes—thank you. Your dedication makes this event possible, and we are honored to be part of it.

To every customer who supported us—whether you stood in line, shared a meal, or simply stopped by—thank you. Your support and encouragement mean more than you know.

To those who came out just to support us, seeing your familiar faces reminded me how blessed we are to be part of such a caring community.

And to my incredible team…

You are the heroes of this story.

You worked through the heat, pressure, and long hours without giving up. You stepped up, supported one another, and represented King’s Katering with pride. I couldn’t be more proud.

This week wasn’t just about barbecue—it was about faith, perseverance, and community. It was a reminder that when things seem impossible, God makes a way through the people around us.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who prayed for us, supported us, and believed in us. You helped turn what almost became a canceled dream into one of the greatest weeks in King’s Katering history.

Last night was one we’ll never forget.

We had the honor of providing hospitality catering for the legendary 38 Special at the Waukesha County Fair, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity.

A huge thank you to the Waukesha County Fair for trusting King’s Katering with such a special part of the event. Being part of this incredible fair means so much to us. The fair has welcomed and supported our small business, and we’re honored to be able to give that same level of care back through the food we serve.

Moments like these remind us why we love what we do. It’s not just about serving great barbecue—it’s about taking care of people, creating memorable experiences, and being part of something bigger than ourselves.

Thank you to everyone at the Waukesha County Fair, the amazing staff, volunteers, and the team behind 38 Special for allowing us to play a small role in a fantastic evening.

We’re truly blessed, incredibly thankful, and proud to call Waukesha County home.

❤️ Today is the Last Day at the Waukesha County Fair. ❤️

As we wrap up our very first year at the fair, our hearts are full.

This week has been about so much more than serving barbecue. It’s been about meeting new friends, sharing laughs, seeing familiar faces come back for seconds, and feeling so welcomed by this incredible community. Every order, every compliment, every smile, and every conversation has meant more to us than you’ll ever know.

To everyone who stopped by our trailer, shared one of our posts, told a friend about us, or simply chose to spend part of your day with us… thank you. Your support has been a blessing, and we’re truly grateful.

If you haven’t had a chance to stop by yet, today is your last opportunity to enjoy King’s Katering at this year’s Waukesha County Fair. We’d love the chance to serve you one last time before the gates close.
