Wicke // Wedding
Yesterday was one of those wedding days that weβll be talking about for a long time.
This wedding was SO uniquely them. It took place right at their horse farm, and the whole day was filled with little details and moments that told their story.
For the ceremony, the bride rode in on horseback, cantered around the crowd, and then later came back in driving a tractor. I meanβ¦ how cool is that?! π΄π
They put SO much time and hard work into creating their reception space, and it turned out absolutely stunning. Every detail felt intentional and so perfectly them. They had food trucks, a dessert truck serving ice cream, AND a mechanical bull for their guests to enjoy. I don't think you could ask for a more fun and unique reception! πππ¦
And then there was the weatherβ¦ π
We were watching the rain all day and weren't sure what we were going to get, but we are SO thankful it split around us when we needed it to. We were able to get their ceremony in, family photos, bride and groom portraits, and even some photos with the horses before the rain decided to show up again.
The mosquitoes, however, apparently did NOT get the memo. π We all got absolutely eaten alive, but honestlyβ¦ it was worth it.
Matt and I are so thankful we got to be a part of such a special day and capture all of the things that made it so uniquely theirs. These are the kinds of weddings we loveβpersonal, meaningful, a little bit unexpected, and filled with the people, places, and things that make a couple who they are. π€
Congratulations to the newlyweds! Thank you for trusting us to be there for it all. π₯
