One of the greatest challenges I face as an event planner is gathering content during and after a setup. Time seems to fly by! One moment we’re putting the final touches on the décor, and the next, guests are arriving. Before you know it, the ceremony begins, dessert is being served, and soon after, we’re breaking down the event.

One way to ensure you don't miss out is by setting aside time for photos and assigning a team member to handle it. Clearly communicate what shots you need, like décor, key moments, or guest interactions, to ensure you capture everything.

Another great tip: Collaborate with your photographer ahead of time. Get permission to use their shots for your social media and always give them credit. Not only does this build your portfolio, but it also helps you network with fellow industry professionals, creating valuable relationships.
